Remote Work at Aurora Assist: A Lawyer's Perspective with Sarah

The following is an interview which took place in April 2023 between our CEO, Ann and one of our Contract Lawyers from Washington State, USA.

Ann: Hi Sarah, thanks for taking the time to chat with me today. I'm really excited to learn more about your experience working remotely at Aurora Assist.

Sarah: It's my pleasure, Ann. I'm happy to be here.

Ann: So, let's start with the basics. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself and your role at Aurora Assist?

Sarah: Sure. My name is Sarah, and I'm a lawyer working in the US for Aurora Assist. I primarily work on contract review and negotiations.

Ann: That's great. And you've been working remotely for Aurora Assist for a couple of years, right?

Sarah: That's right. I've been with the company for about two years now, and I've been working remotely the whole time.

Ann: Awesome. So, what do you think about working remotely?

Sarah: I love it! It's given me so much flexibility and freedom. I can work from anywhere, and I can set my own hours. It's been great for my work-life balance.

Ann: That's great to hear. We're really proud of our remote work culture here at Aurora Assist. We think it's a great way to attract and retain top talent.

Sarah: I agree. I've really enjoyed working remotely, and I don't think I could go back to working in an office full-time.

Ann: So, what are some of the specific benefits you've experienced as a remote worker?

Sarah: Well, like I said, the flexibility and freedom are huge benefits. I can work from home, which means I can save time and money on commuting. I can also set my own hours, which allows me to work around my personal life.

Ann: Those are all great benefits. And what about any challenges you've faced working remotely?

Sarah: I think one of the biggest challenges is staying connected with my team. It's easy to feel isolated when you're not working in an office with your colleagues.

Ann: That's a valid concern. We've put a lot of effort into building a strong remote culture here at Aurora Assist. We have regular virtual team meetings, and we encourage our team members to connect with each other outside of work.

Sarah: That's great to hear. I think it's important to have opportunities to connect with your team, even when you're working remotely.

Ann: So, overall, you've had a positive experience working remotely at Aurora Assist?

Sarah: Absolutely. I love it! It's been a great experience for me, and I'm really grateful for the opportunity to work remotely.

Ann: That's great to hear, Sarah. Thanks so much for chatting with me today. I really appreciate your insights.

Sarah: It was my pleasure, Ann. Thank you for having me.
