Insights on Working Remotely and Aurora Assist's Commitment to Social Responsibility

Behind the Scenes with Aurora Assist's Data Entry Dynamo:
An Interview with John

The following is an interview which took place in April 2023 between our CEO, Ann and one of our Data Entry Clerks from Scotland, UK

Ann: Hey John, thanks for joining me today. I'm excited to learn more about your role at Aurora Assist.

John: Hi Ann, it's my pleasure to be here.

Ann: So, let's start with the basics. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself and your role at Aurora Assist?

John: Sure. My name is John, and I'm a data entry clerk based in Scotland. I'm responsible for entering client data into our systems and ensuring the accuracy of the information.

Ann: That's great, I used to live in Scotland a long time ago now, it’s a beautiful part of the world. How long have you been with the company?

John: I've been with Aurora Assist for about a year now.

Ann: Awesome. So, what do you think about working at Aurora Assist?

John: I really enjoy it! The team is great and supportive, and the work itself is interesting and challenging. I also appreciate the company's values and commitment to social responsibility.

Ann: That's great to hear. We're really proud of our company culture and the work we do. What do you think sets Aurora Assist apart from other companies in your field?

John: I think one of the things that sets Aurora Assist apart is our commitment to social responsibility and ethical business practices. It's great to work for a company that prioritises making a positive impact on the world. Additionally, the company culture is really inclusive and supportive, which is important to me as an employee.

Ann: That's great feedback, thank you. How do you find working remotely as a data entry clerk?

John: I actually find it works really well for my role. I have a quiet home office setup, so I'm able to concentrate on my work without distraction. It's also great to have the flexibility to work from home, as it saves me a lot of time and money that I would have otherwise spent on commuting.

Ann: That's great to hear, we're really proud of our remote work culture and it's good to know it's working well for you. Do you have any suggestions for how we can continue to support our remote team members like yourself?

John: I think continuing to invest in communication and collaboration tools would be helpful. It's also great when we have virtual team-building events or opportunities to connect with our colleagues. Additionally, it would be helpful to have regular check-ins with managers to ensure that we're all on the same page and working towards the same goals.

Ann: Those are all great suggestions, thank you for sharing. Finally, what are your career goals and how do you see yourself growing within Aurora Assist?

John: I'm really interested in exploring other roles within the company, such as customer support or operations. I think there's a lot of potential for growth and development within Aurora Assist and I'm excited to see where my career takes me here.

Ann: That's great to hear, John. I'm confident that you'll be successful in whatever you choose to do. Thanks again for joining me today.

John: Thank you for having me, Ann.
